Wendy house

Time for a Wendy house in the corner of the garden. It's going to be styled on the Weasley's mansion, no design, just whatever works on the day.

Dug some holes and marked a level line:

Four posts in and concreted. Can't see the two back posts, they are slightly below ground level:

Main structural beams in place:

Added a couple of support beams; not load bearing:

All timber recycled from the in-laws' deck:

Strength testing:

Added more floor going around a small tree:

Created an upper deck which will lead to the top of the slide:

Frame for the sides on:

And now the roof and sky light:

Two sides on with windows:

Front section with windows. One rear section with window in too:

En-Suite refit

Found the floor in the en-suite was a bit wet. Leak somewhere, suspect the shower basin.

So, ripped out the floor that I could get to:

Then put in bracing and a temporary floor whilst we went shopping for parts:

Original en-suite:

Removed the old shower and ripped up the damaged floor and put new floor in place (noting no wood seems to come in 18mm thick anymore):

Temporary sink:

Removed Gib:

Toilet out and flooring starts to go down:

New toilet and vanity, all plumbed:

New Gib on:

False wall at rear of shower to bring the shower forward and allow the waste hole to exit between support beams:

Good place to hid wiring for the towel rail that is too large to go between toilet and vanity:

New piping and mixer:

Gib all in:

Shower back and tray fitted:

Head and mixer on:

Bloody heavy shower doors in place:

Tiles going on:

Nice green wall, mirror cabinet, and tile trim:
